What do I get free?
GoodTaco Free includes one app, one user, 1,000 one-time signup credits, 1,000 app runs per month, one database with up to 100 records, and access to the standard live integrations. No credit card required.
How do AI credits work?
Credits pay for the AI that builds and changes your apps. Free includes 1,000 one-time signup credits. Hobby includes 900 credits/month and Pro includes 2,900 + 5% bonus credits/month. Enterprise usage terms are handled through sales.
Can I buy more credits?
Yes. Paid plans can buy fixed credit packs anytime: $9.99 for 1,000 credits, $49.99 for 5,500 credits, or $149.99 for 18,000 credits. Bonus credits are included immediately and purchased credits expire after 1 year.
How fast can I build my first app?
You can create a working first version in minutes. Connect your data, describe what you need, and review what the AI builds. You can then iterate and refine the app through chat.

What happens when I run out of credits?
On Free, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan to keep building. On paid plans, credits reset monthly, you can purchase more anytime, and you can enable auto-reload so a selected credit pack is added when your balance drops below your threshold.
What does Pro unlock over Hobby?
Hobby is for up to 5 personal apps, with monthly credits, 3,000 app runs per month, 3 databases of up to 1,000 records each, and apps that can email you from your Gmail. Pro adds unlimited apps, private apps with sign-in, editing text and colors yourself without AI, custom domains and branding, email support, 10 included users, and apps that can email anyone from your Gmail. It also raises the limits to 25,000 app runs per month and 20 databases of up to 25,000 records each.
Is my data secure?
Connected data sources use OAuth, so you never share their passwords with GoodTaco. You can sign in with Google, and on Pro and Enterprise, private apps ask people to sign in before they see any data, with access limited to the users or roles you choose. Enterprise adds custom integrations and security review support.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When downgrading to Free, you'll choose which app to keep. Hobby is single-user, Pro includes 10 users, and Enterprise is built for larger teams.
How does per-user pricing work?
Free and Hobby include 1 user. Pro includes 10 users. Enterprise team size is customized through sales.
